A salute for educating and serving local members

In 2019, South Africa won the IEEE’s international Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Outstanding Medium Section Award for the first time. ALSO: Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship

Human evolution and advancements have always been dependent on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). To celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week 2018 and further the goal of changing and improving the world, the IEEE WIE National School of Engineers of Monastir (ENIM), Tunisia, student Affinity Group organized “WIE Change the World,” in partnership with She Starts Africa, on 28 November 2018 at ENIM.

The event focused on empowering women through entrepreneurship to build their engineering projects by holding conferences, success stories, and workshops. In doing so, women in STEM can learn the characteristics of female entrepreneurs, which helps them to understand and demonstrate the path from engineer to entrepreneur.

People loved them.
